Meet Scarlett Allen-Horton, Finalist on The Apprentice 2019
Scarlett Allen-Horton is a 32-year-old businesswoman and candidate on BBC's The Apprentice 2019.
Scarlett has a track record of success, having a great run as a recruiter before then reaching the final stage of the process on The Apprentice 2019.
I am an achiever. I have been the highest performer across every workplace I have worked within.
There is, therefore, no surprise that the entrepreneur's business is a recruitment firm (Harper Fox Partners) as Scarlett has had over twelve years of experience in this field. This is something that Lord Sugar will be happy with as in the semi-finals, he shunned Lewis Ellis's business idea as he had no real experience in that field.
As well as impressing Lord Sugar, Baroness Brady also had her eyes on the recruiter from day one of the competition as she said:
When Scarlett walked into the boardroom at first, you could just tell - from the way she carried herself, her poise, her confidence - that she was one to watch
The confidence and independence had been seen in Scarlett from a young age, moving out of her parent's house at age 16 and having a baby at aged 20. This must have been such a difficult period of time for such a young person, but it is clearly where Scarlett's strong character stems from.
I left home and thought 'woah - I have to pay for a lot of things' - and if you don't work, you can't eat.
Scarlett's journey is proof that everything happens for a reason, as in her early years, the situation may have been tough but it has all led up to this moment. Hopefully, the hard work and dedication pay off and the entrepreneur receives the £250,000 investment from Lord Sugar.
Best of luck Scarlett!
