Tinie Tempah Brings Out Fried Chicken Brand RAPS

Award-winning artist Tinie Tempah brings out fried chicken brand RAPS.

Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu, known to most as Tinie Tempah, returns to South London with his fried chicken brand RAPS.

Launching on March 11th, the newly founded fast-food brand will have an expansive menu with each item having a nod to the culture that he made his name in.

From the Buffalo Soulja, JME Wrap and even the Unknown T’s Buttermilk Brined Tenders, the Plumstead-born entrepreneur's menu will really embrace the culture.

Speaking to GRM Daily, Tinie said "RAPS just felt right. Food is an exploration of culture through its ingredients and flavours and London, the city I’m from, is rich with diversity and culture; it was really exciting to work on something where I was able to combine the food I love and grew up on (both in the home and on the high street) and the music that inspired me to be who I am today.”

RAPS will be available online as well as having a four-month residency at Willows on the Roof (an open air space on the John Lewis on Oxford Street) from March 11th.
